Outreach Teacher for SEMH Student (GCSE Support)
Location: Off-site
Position: Outreach Teacher for SEMH Support
Subjects: Core GCSE Subjects (English, Maths, Science)
Contract: Part-Time or Full-Time
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Outreach Teacher to support a student with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs who is currently learning outside of a traditional school setting. This role focuses on delivering core GCSE subjects in a supportive, engaging way that meets the student’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide personalized academic support in English, Maths, and Science, helping the student prepare for GCSEs.
*Build a trusting relationship to foster motivation and confidence in learning.
*Adapt teaching approaches to suit the student’s learning pace and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
*Experience teaching core GCSE subjects, ideally with SEMH experience.
*Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
*A flexible and student-centered approach.
