Job Description: Business Development Manager
Location: Outskirts of Chelmsford
Salary: Circa £30-35k per annum + Generous Commission (Based on new and repeat/subscription business)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Working Pattern: 4 days a week in the office, with remote working on Fridays
CloudScope is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing digital marketing company on the outskirts of Chelmsford. The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to focus on driving both new and repeat business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative and target-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Identifying and securing new business opportunities across various industries.
*Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat and subscription-based business.
*Articulating the value of the company’s digital marketing services to both prospective and existing clients.
*Managing the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and deal closure to ongoing account development.
*Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery.
*Achieving and exceeding revenue targets through a combination of new client acquisition and retention strategies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within digital marketing or related sectors.
*A results-oriented individual with a passion for securing new business and fostering lasting client relationships.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor approaches to diverse audiences.
*Based in Essex, with the ability to commute to the office 4 days a week.
*Confident, personable, and proactive, with a natural ability to build rapport and drive results.
