A construction company is currently recruiting an Architect to work in their London office.
In this role, you will be responsible for working on office retrofit, showroom-fitout projects where you will be completing daily tasks such as preparing detailed architectural drawings, conducting site visits to monitor progress, collaborating with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, managing project budgets, fees, and timelines effectively, and supporting and leading team members.
The ideal candidate should have RIBA Part 3, and 5 years’ experience post qualification.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is advantageous.

Architect Main Responsibilities:
*Preparing detailed architectural drawings
*Conducting site visits to monitor progress
*Collaborating with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
*Manage project budgets, fees, and timelines effectively
*Support and lead team members
Architect Ideal Candidate:
*«Essential» A qualified Architect or a holder of a First-Class Architect licence, with knowledge of building regulations in both Japan and the UK, and experience in leading commercial projects of 15,000 m²
*«Essential» More than 5 years of relevant experience
*«Essential» RIBA Part 3
*«Preferred» 1st-class Kenchikushi
*Proficiency with CAD software
*Strong understanding of UK building regulations
*Familiarity with BIM
*PC skills
*Business level fluency in English
*Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is advantageous
