Job Role: Emergency Nurse
Location: Lewisham and Greenwich Hospital, London
Pay Rate: £20 - £32 per hour, Umbrella
Shift Pattern: Ad hoc, Days/Nights

Job Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse to work in one of London’s leading A&E departments, gaining experience in a busy and dynamic environment. You’ll join a skilled multi-disciplinary team, developing your expertise across specialties while learning from top emergency clinicians in the UK.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct preliminary patient assessments to determine care needs.
*Refer patients to departments like radiology, cardiology, or osteopathy.
*Take over care from Paramedics upon patient arrival.
*Communicate updates to family members.
*Analyze test results and maintain detailed notes.
*Administer dressings, pain relief, antibiotics, and medications.
*Complete discharge paperwork.
*Uphold care standards in the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
*Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
*Minimum 6 months of experience in an ED department.
*Strong clinical skills and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
