On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Fixed Income Bonds Deal Capture Business Analyst for a 6 month rolling contract based in London, Marylebone on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office).
Purpose of the Role:
The primary function of the Deal Capture IRG domain is to support, maintain and enhance an application called STAR. STAR is a Front Office (FO) booking system responsible for the deal capture and life cycle management of Interest Rates Derivatives (IRD), Futures, Bonds
(including MBS) and subsequent passing of the trades through Middle Office (MO) to Back Office (BO).
The BAU work is divided into three areas: support issues (third-line support involving BAs and developers), small enhancements (speaking with users and identifying requirements), and bigger projects (with a 50/50 split between support and project work). Involvement in larger projects will occur further down the line . The team is globally distributed into Squads (internally known as Scrum). There are many users and stakeholders, and interaction worldwide, this global setup ensures a dynamic and engaging work environment.
As a Fixed Income Bonds Deal Capture Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
*Holding in-depth understanding of bonds, secondary loans, and listed derivatives while demonstrating a strong proficiency in SQL and a background in support roles.
*Providing third-line support, working with BA’s and developers.
*Implementing small enhancements based on user requirements and participate in larger projects with a 50/50 split between support and project tasks.
*Showing strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with a diverse group of users and stakeholders globally, preferably at a mid to senior level.
What we require from the Fixed Income Bonds Deal Capture Business Analyst:
*In-depth understanding of bonds, secondary loans, and listed derivatives, along with strong proficiency in SQL and a background in support roles.
*Proven experience in providing third-line support, working with BA’s and developers, and the ability to implement small enhancements based on user requirements while participating in larger projects with a 50/50 split between support and project tasks.
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with a diverse group of users and stakeholders globally, preferably at a mid to senior level.
*Previous experience as Business Analyst in an investment banking background (desirable).
