Job Description:
The Company
An AI startup headquartered in London that we’re working with has recently secured a Series A investment led by top-tier venture capital firms. Known for pioneering solutions in agentic AI, this fast-growing company has gained significant traction across various industries, delivering intelligent automation that seamlessly integrates with both large and small enterprise environments. Since their launch, the company has successfully scaled to a team of 50, achieving solid growth and market presence.
With plans to expand the team to over 100 within the next 18 months, they’re seeking an experienced Product Director who will play a pivotal role in steering the product roadmap as they double down on scaling, product enhancement, and market expansion.
The Role
As Product Director, you will report directly to the CTO, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, marketing, and business development. In this role, you’ll drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of product strategy with business goals. You will be instrumental in shaping product vision, defining scalable processes, and developing a roadmap that captures client feedback and market trends.
This position requires a leader who is not only strategically minded but also hands-on, with the agility to navigate a rapidly evolving, high-paced environment. With a primary focus on scaling, you will work to streamline product operations and implement robust systems, ultimately driving the expansion of the product portfolio while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong technical acumen paired with a proven track record in scaling products within high-growth startups. You are adaptable, thrive in dynamic settings, and bring a strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically. Previous experience in AI or related fields is advantageous, along with a passion for creating products that deliver meaningful client impact.
The company operates on a remote-first model but maintains a centrally located office in London for team collaboration.
The Future
Backed by Series A funding, the company has clear objectives for the next two years. Key goals include scaling the team beyond 100 employees, developing a scalable and resilient organizational structure, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Additionally, the leadership team envisions expanding product capabilities, making strategic hires, and establishing a U.S.-based office to support global growth.
Requirements
*Strong background in managing end-to-end product development, preferably within AI or technology-driven sectors.
*Demonstrated success in scaling teams and products at a high-growth startup.
*Technical knowledge of APIs and familiarity with data architecture.
*Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
