We are looking for a strategic finance professional ready to lead and shape the financial success of a dynamic division, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence, strategic decision-making, and operational success. Key Responsibilities:
As a Divisional Financial Controller, you will:
*Oversee all financial operations for the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
*Provide strategic insight to senior leadership by delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering growth, engagement, and high performance.
*Develop and implement robust financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
*Drive operational efficiency through analysis of financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
*Partner with divisional leaders to shape and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring financial alignment.
*Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning to support business objectives.
*Collaborate with group finance to ensure alignment with overall company goals and reporting standards.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need:
*A professional accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA preferred, with significant post-qualification experience.
*Proven leadership in a senior financial management role, ideally within a divisional or multi-site environment.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
*A proactive, hands-on approach, coupled with a strategic mindset.
*Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, including ERP platforms and Excel.
