*Ensure the department and wider business stakeholders get maximum value from the Central Data Platform by understanding and articulating claims data requirements and acting as the Product Owner within the Claims Data squad.

*Lead on the design and build of the extensive Claims Dashboard suite, working with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements, while ensuring consistency and best practice.
*Take responsibility for the provision of accurate data to third parties, including the regulator, ABI, and benchmarking partners.
Support the implementation of the company data governance policies and data quality standards to ensure integrity and accuracy of claims data.
*Drive the development of skills and capabilities of direct reports and assist with training the wider team and claims function where there are gaps in data literacy.
*To be successful in being considered for the Claims Data Manager role you will need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
*A deep understanding of data, data quality and credibility, the importance and potential of rich, complete and accurate data, and a broad knowledge of how it is used across the business.

* A proven track record in planning and project management, with the ability to form a plan, manage priorities, report on delivery and achieve key milestones.
*Prior experience of leading a team, and confidence with resource planning.
*The ability to communicate complex messages both at senior management level and at delivery team level, along with the wider Claims department and peers in the business.
*A numerate degree, apprenticeship or advanced qualification is an advantage but not essential.
