Job Description:
Experienced Payroll person who is capable of working closely with and supporting the payroll manager. This Payroll position requires a well organised and driven candidate with a solid understanding of payroll who really wants to get involved with as much as they can!

Description
*Looking after monthly (in-house) payroll
*Administration around expenses, pensions, renewals of benefits
*Checking over payroll details input from HR
*Addressing payroll queries from employees and colleagues
*Assisting in the preparation of reports
*Processing and collating payroll related information
*Maintaining employee payroll record
*Working closely with the HR team for any payroll changes
*Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes
*Supporting the payroll manager with any additional tasks or project work
*Effectively covering certain duties on behalf of payroll manager in their absence
Profile
A successful Senior Payroll candidate should have:
*A strong understanding of payroll processes
*Great communication skills and be able to speak to people on all levels
*Be highly adaptable
*Initiative and work well towards deadlines
*Understand legislation and the new UK budget/commercial knowledge
*High attention to detail
*Excellent organisational skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Good with Excel
