Job Description:
Job Title: Service and Small Works Fire and Security Engineer
Location: North West and Yorkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 DOE
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Engineer to join our team, specializing in servicing, maintaining, and carrying out small works on fire and security systems in commercial properties. This role covers a range of buildings, including education, government, and local authority sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
*Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring systems operate effectively and meet required standards.
*Install and commission small works, including upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
*Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports and compliance records.
*Provide professional customer service, liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction and address their needs.
*Participate in a call-out rota to provide emergency support as required.
*Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards, implementing best practices in all work.
*Attend in-house and external training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
