*Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the department
*Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to exceed targets
*Build strong relationships with key clients
*Oversee and land new contracts through bid management
*Track and report on sales performance metrics
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
*Identify opportunities for growth within the sector
*Head up sales, reporting into the Board
Profile
A successful ’Head of Sales - Contract Catering’ should have:
*A strong background in sales within the Business Services sector, preferably a link to Food or Contract Catering services
*Leadership experience; sales training, development planning, best practice, encouraging a successful culture
*Passion for scaling up a team and making sales pivotal in business growth
*Defining and executing a channel / client strategic business plan
*Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with multi function touch points. Bid delivery
*Internal & external influence from top down
*Proficiency in using sales tracking and reporting
