Your new company
Our client is recruiting for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm, and some flexibility can be offered with these start and finish times. The organisation is based in Stirling and once training has been completed, hybrid working can be offered. The organisation can be accessed by local public transport and there is also on-site parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a team of 2, you will undertake a varied role. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger, reconciliations, budgeting duties, financial analysis and reporting, month end support and general associated tasks. The IT system used is Sage.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential that you have experience in a similarly varied accounts role. You will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will liaise with clients, suppliers and colleagues on a daily basis via telephone and email. Sage experience is advantageous but not essential. You will be a team player who is also comfortable working to their own initiative.
