Job Advert: Facilities Team Leader
Contract Type: Temp To Perm
Working Pattern: Full Time
We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to join our client’s organisation, a leading provider in the healthcare sector. As the Facilities Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members, training and supervising them to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Train, monitor, and supervise staff to ensure they meet the organisation’s standards and goals.
Supervise the proper handling of clinical waste generated within the facility.
Collaborate with staff teams to carry out domestic, housekeeping, and other related duties.
Identify and respond to user needs on a daily basis, solving problems and addressing complaints promptly and effectively.
Liaise with other staff groups, particularly nursing, to ensure seamless coordination and service provision.
Actively seek constructive feedback to continuously improve service provision.
Oversee the rota and ensure adequate staff coverage at all times.
Sign off on cleaning schedules to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Train new staff members and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Manage stock control and inventory to ensure supplies are well-maintained and readily available.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Facilities Team Leader or similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in IT systems and software.
Must have a DBS clearance
