Job Description:
School Caretaker
Full-Time
Newcastle Primary School
9am-5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until Christmas
We are currently supporting a Newcastle Primary School who are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join them team on a full-time temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
*Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
*Oversee security of the school buildings and grounds.
*Manage waste disposal and recycling.
*Assist with setting up for school events and activities.
*Respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent issues.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
*Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Excellent time management and organisational skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
