Job Description:
Unleash exceptional opportunities for your insurance career
An exciting opportunity for an experienced account handler to accelerate your insurance career, working in the vibrant commercial heart of the City. This is an unmissable chance to grow within an experienced and inspiring team, expanding your knowledge and experience of advising corporate-sized businesses with complex needs.
Get greater insurance industry exposure
In this newly created role, you’ll get the chance to really shine - while also helping a unique and dynamic business achieve its ambitious growth strategy. Integral to clients’ service teams, you’ll be proving your value through experience, talent, ambition and hard work. Successful candidates will share the company’s values of integrity, honesty, putting clients first, and providing the highest quality service.
Shape how client service is delivered
As a Commercial Account handler, your main duties will cover all aspects of helping VIP Corporate clients with their insurance requirements and providing professional advice including: responding to general enquiries, assisting with renewals and mid-term adjustments, and providing quotations.
What you need to thrive in the role
You’ll preferably bring some experience working with large corporate clients (turnover £25m+). You’ll need at least two years’ experience working with Commercial Combined, Fleet PI and management liability policies. You also must have a comprehensive understanding of insurer markets and placement, and intermediate knowledge of Acturis. CII qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
Personal qualities
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a talent for establishing strong relationships with colleagues, clients and insurers. An attention to detail and strong organisational skills are also crucial. Hungry to develop your career, you’ll need to be hard working, naturally task focused, and adept at managing your own workload and administration.
What you’ll get
Based in a vibrant and friendly London office, you’ll be offered hybrid/flex working, subject to the needs of the business. Along with an excellent salary and enticing benefits and incentives, you’ll enjoy a generous holiday allowance.
The challenge is exciting; the rewards are exceptional.
