Job Description:
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Rotherham area as they look to recruit a temporary Accounts Assistant into their team on a temporary basis of around 3 months to assist them with a busy period.
Responsibilities:
*Transaction Processing: Process invoices, payments, receipts accurately and timely.
*Reconciliations: Assist in bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations
*Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support the management of accounts payable and receivable, including responding to queries and maintaining accurate records
*Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting systems and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
*Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
*Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the finance team, such as filing, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
*Ad Hoc Duties: Support additional tasks as required by the finance team or senior management.
Person Specification:
*Experience working within an Accounts Assistant role
*Confidence dealing with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations
*Previous use of multicurrency (desirable but not essential)
