Job Description:
Your new company
My client is a relationship-driven large regional firm who have grown by over 25% in the last 3 years, and have better profitability than most firms in the UK (of any size). Their culture, values and model for profitability are both attractive, refreshing and, with the right growth recipe, have some amazing opportunities for future leaders.
As a result of both succession and growth, there is an opportunity for a personable and client facing private client tax professional to join the team and work closely with the Private Client Tax Partner as a direct entry partner with a view to coming through to partner in the short to medium term. If the latter, you will be supported and mentored on all aspects of what it takes to become a Partner including the market piece, client relationships, technical and internal responsibilities. For the right candidate, direct entry partnership would also be considered.
Your new role
They punch well above their weight with their client base (with client assets typically ranging from £5-25m) and this continues to grow (with work predominantly coming via referrals) and undertake tax advisory and compliance work for a wide variety of private clients. You will be given a portfolio of tax clients to develop and will advise on tax planning opportunities in areas such as income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. A large number of the portfolio are high net worth, and/or non-resident and non-domiciled individuals, but you will also manage the tax affairs of company directors, sole-traders and partnerships. You will complete tax advisory reports for clients, often involving complex tax issues such as residency and domicile.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally CTA qualified or equivalent and able to display a positive and motivated outlook, instigate change and new ideas and perform well under pressure. You will be an experienced private client tax professional with a focus on relationships and providing the best client experience.
What you’ll get in return
They offer a very flexible, hybrid working model with a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
