We are looking to recruit a FTTP Telecoms Surveyor to support our Clients delivery of Gigabit programmes across Cheshire and Shropshire as well as our commercial delivery and BAU work streams across north and central England.

Description
We are looking to recruit a FTTP Telecoms Surveyor to support Clients delivery of Gigabit programmes across Cheshire and Shropshire as well as our commercial delivery and BAU work streams across north and central England. Reporting into the Survey & Assets Manager, your main responsibilities will be surveying and completing planning design packs, containing all information of civils, cabling and plan on the underground and overhead network, performing quality audits on assets and infrastructure post build, responding to reactive survey requests across a multitude of work streams to support BAU and Programmed delivery.
Responsibilities:
*Conducting a full intrusive survey of Underground and Overhead networks.
*Production of clear route updates on our Geographic information system.
*Identifying solutions on the network to avoid civil work to ensure all requirements are met.
*Providing regular updates on any issues that could hamper the build, i.e. way leaves, tree cutting, duct congestion and other holding factors.
*Ensure all A55s are correctly recorded and uploaded to internal systems.
*Accurate completion and submission of all job packs and other necessary documentation in compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality Control and Environmental policies.
*Perform in progress and retrospective quality audits.
*Survey and update all PIA data.
*Record and submit Network Adjustments
*Lease and meet with stakeholders to advise and achieve desired outcomes.
*Work closely cross department with Build Assessment teams to de-risk and solve key threats to delivery.
Profile
Ideally we are looking for someone who is a team player that can analyse, and report detailed information from the field. A brilliant communicator with a complex understanding of network infrastructure related to overhead and underground delivery for build. A problem solver, that can overcome issues and find a way forward to deliver against programmed time lines.
Qualifications (desirable)
*Ideally qualified with S11, S13, S5, S6, A8/SA001, A9/SA002 & NRSWA
*Relevant Experience
*Previous FTTP survey experience (Desirable)
*Minimum 2-year experience in a FTTP network build environment (Essential)
*Knowledge of both UG and OH PIA network (Essential)

*Full UK Driving licence
*Excellent communicator
*Relevant industry related tickets
*Excellent communication skills
*A positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
*Good organisation skills

*Salary £33,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
