Job Description:
A specialist law firm in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Industrial Disease Fee Earner to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm that is dedicated to providing exceptional client service while supporting its team members’ growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Handle a full caseload of industrial disease claims from inception to settlement.
*Manage claims involving a range of industrial disease issues, including but not limited to noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), asbestos-related conditions, repetitive strain injuries, and respiratory diseases.
*Conduct thorough investigations, prepare legal documents, and liaise with medical experts to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant statutory legislation, case law, and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
*Progress cases efficiently through the litigation process, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
*Provide excellent client care, keeping clients informed and updated on the progress of their cases and offering sound legal advice.
*Collaborate with other team members to support the overall objectives of the department and firm.
Requirements:
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing industrial disease claims.
*Strong litigation experience with a comprehensive understanding of industrial disease law.
*Detailed knowledge of statutory legislation and relevant case law.
*Familiarity with CPR and an ability to work independently in managing a caseload.
*Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
*Strong organisational and time management skills to manage a busy caseload.
