Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer who will be instrumental in guaranteeing the highest quality standards for our products. This role will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a dedicated approach to ensuring the functionality and durability of our product line.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team
*Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
*Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
*Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures
*Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system, including auditing where appropriate.
*Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements
*Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA’s
*Liaison with Customer & Supplier representatives to ensure understanding of requirements / issues / standards
*Customer Liaison and co-ordination of requirements with sales, engineering, manufacturing, logistic, purchasing and accounts
*Monitoring & ensuring customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner
*Perform Audit activities in line with company Audit Timing Plan
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
*Knowledge of quality systems and measurement
*Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval
*Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
*Lean Manufacturing knowledge
*Understanding of engineering drawings
*Ability to present data effectively
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*NVQ Level 5 Activities in an Automotive Context over a two year period would be Desirable
