*Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives
*Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for goods and services
*Ensure procurement processes are compliant with regulatory requirements
*Lead and mentor a team in the procurement & supply chain department
*Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement activities
*Analyse market trends and apply insights to procurement strategies
*Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated business processes
Profile
A successful Procurement Business Partner should have:
*A degree qualification in a relevant field
*Experience in procurement within the not-for-profit or charity sector
*Leadership skills and experience managing a team
*Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
*Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and compliance
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
What we are specifically after are Procurement Business Partners who have experience in conducting complex above threshold procurement outside of using a framework or dynamic purchasing system.
