About the Role:
Horizon Teachers is excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Redbridge, who are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, starting in January 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English teacher to make a positive impact in a supportive and high-achieving school environment.

As an English Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language. The school prides itself on its outstanding academic performance, strong pastoral care, and excellent teaching resources. You will work alongside a talented and supportive department, ensuring that students reach their full potential and continue to excel in English.

Key Responsibilities:
*Teach English across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering high-quality lessons
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the English curriculum
*Maintain high standards of behaviour management and ensure a productive learning environment
*Contribute to extra-curricular activities and support the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:
*A qualified English Teacher with experience teaching at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4)
*A passion for teaching English and inspiring students to achieve their best
*Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills
*Ability to create engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students

*Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
