About the Role:
Horizon Teachers is excited to be working with a well-established secondary school in Camden, who are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics.
As the Science teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the department The school has a strong focus on inclusivity and strives to foster a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
*Teach Science at KS3 and KS4 levels and Physics at KS5.
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote student understanding and enthusiasm for science
*Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department to develop and refine curriculum delivery
*Participate in school activities and professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate:
*A qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics
*Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4)
*A passion for Physics and inspiring young learners
*Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
*Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the department
