Occupational Therapist, LD and Autism
Pay rate up to £30.66 per hour
The Talent Crowd are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join a Learning Disability Team in Manchester City Council.
The OT will be assessing the level of care provided to LD citizens in supported living, or those who will be moving into supported living. They will have a good understanding of managing challenging behaviours including sensory and environmental interventions, moving and handling techniques, equipment/adaptations, and assistive technology to enhance the citizen’s independence, and optimise the level of care received. The OT will provide assessment to support citizens to move in or out of supported living dependant on the complexity of their needs, and suitability of accommodation.
