Their team is dedicated to providing top-notch logistics solutions to our clients, ensuring their goods are transported efficiently and safely. Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Coordination: Manage the end-to-end process of freight forwarding, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers and clients.
*Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely updates on shipment status.
*Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
*Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
*Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process, keeping all stakeholders informed.
*Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
*Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
