Job Description:
Alexander Daniels are recruiting for a Finance Analyst - AR for a business based in Birmingham. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the senior FP&A Manager, you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to further your career.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee accounts receivable portfolio management including onboarding new accounts.
*Execute credit checks and maintain precise records using Microsoft Dynamics.
*Proactively chase overdue debts through calls and emails ensuring timely payment collection.
*Perform reconciliations of AR ledger while producing relevant metrics reports.
Involvement extends beyond just managing receivables; you will also play an active part in Financial Planning & Analysis activities such as analysing financial data, creating commercial reporting, forecasting cash flows/sales positions. Additionally, supporting audit preparations forms one aspect where attention to detail comes into sharp focus.
Skills Required:
*Organisation & Time Management: Keep tasks prioritized effectively with keen organisational skills-essential when dealing with multiple accountabilities concurrently
*Analytical Prowess & Problem Solving: Apply incisive analytical abilities coupled with problem-solving expertise to navigate complex financial landscapes
*Independent Teamwork: Demonstrate autonomy during individual projects along with cooperative working with wider teams
*Communication Excellence: Exhibit superior written/verbal communication capabilities-a must-have trait especially over telephone interactions
Education or experience that would be beneficial includes holding at least bachelor’s degree or being AAT qualified although this isn’t mandatory if accompanied by proven background working environments akin to finance sectors. Familiarity utilizing MS Office suite particularly Excel adds advantageous leverage too!
This position offers study support along with hybrid working.
