Job Purpose
*Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
*Preparation of accounts
*Preparation of financial statements
*Build strong rapport with teams across the wider firm, ensuring clear and effective communication
*Develop junior staff by reviewing work, offering guidance and championing skill sharing
*Use relevant software including CCH and Microsoft Office
*Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
*Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
*Research and interpret changes to regulations
*Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities
*Provide support to Senior Managers and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc work where needed

Job Requirements
*ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or finalist
*Qualified by experience also considered
*Proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
*Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
*Self-motivated and reliable, with a keen eye for detail
*A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
*Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
*Excellent relationship building skills
*A hands-on team player who can manage their own workload
