Job Description:
*Annual Salary: £22,857
*Location: Colchester
*Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
*Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
*Accountable to: Events Manager
Reed Business Support in Colchester are recruiting an Events Administrator for our growing client. This role involves assisting in the management and delivery of a diverse portfolio of events, conferences, workshops, seminars, and training courses across Europe, both in-person and online. If you are enthusiastic about organising events and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Handle event queries via email and manage the delivery of events
*Assist in organising social programmes and coordinating panel schedules.
*Create content and support relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
*Assist with on-site event setup and management, and configure the event website.
*Ensure that enquiries related to events are handled efficiently, providing relevant information and support.
*Create and maintain comprehensive event documentation, plans, and reports.
*Monitor event progress, addressing any disruptions or delays proactively.
*Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding travel and accommodation requirements.
*Support the creation and maintenance of high standards of presentation of event spaces.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Good general education, typically to GCSE equivalent or higher.
*Experience in general administration within a busy office environment.
*Strong oral and written communication skills.
*Exceptional customer service skills.
*Proficiency in computer skills and administrative tasks.
*Flexible approach to working hours and arrangements.
*Experience in delivering virtual and/or hybrid events is desirable.
*Event management certification is a plus.
