Workshop Controller - Elstree
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 1:00pm

Workshop Controller Responsibilities:
*Overseeing the efficiency and utilization of technicians.
*Ensuring the smooth distribution of job cards throughout the workshop.
*Completing all related administration to an accurate and professional standard.
*Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all job card write-ups and job completion status on the DMS.
*Passing completed jobs to service costing, warranty, or administration for invoicing while ensuring all hours worked are properly documented.
*Managing the workshop loading system and assigning jobs to the most suitable technicians.
*Upselling to customers when appropriate, achieving both personal and departmental targets.
The Ideal Workshop Controller:
*A strong communicator and leader who thrives under pressure and provides exceptional service.
*Experienced as a Workshop Controller, with a solid career history in a main dealer service department.
*A professional who has worked with teams of technicians, managing both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
