Job Description:
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will oversee and support the housekeeping team and the provision of serving beverages.
You will be responsible for working alongside and supporting the supervisors with the successful delivery of beverage services, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and to the required standard. All tasks will be monitored to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
The position is offered on a full time basis, working any five days from seven and includes day and evening shifts.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Awareness of COSHH.
*Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Efficient and effective team management skills.
*Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and expectations.
*Competent IT skills.
*Experience using commercial dishwashers and coffee machines is preferred but not essential.
Main Responsibilities
* Working as part of a team or independently.
*Undertaking weekly stock checks.
*Following agreed cleaning policies and procedures.
*Communicating issues and concerns to line manager.
*Reviewing own teams work practices and environment.
*Maintaining a flexible approach to work.
*Storing and using chemicals in a safe manner.
*Following all PPE guidelines.
*Assisting with the recruitment of new team members.
*Monitoring, assessing and developing staff performance to support the Company’s operation.
