We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team in Blackpool and inspire KS4 and KS5 students in this vital subject area. We offer a competitive daily pay rate, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
Your role will involve planning and delivering lessons that cover topics such as human development, health promotion, and care practices, while also using real-world examples to enhance student’s learning. You will also help them develop a deep understanding of the key concepts within the health and social care sectors.

Responsibilities:
*Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
*Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
*Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
*Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
*Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
*Set homework and mark promptly
*Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
*Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
*Strong knowledge of the curriculum
*Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:

*QTS/PGCE equivalent
