Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with physical, developmental, and functional needs, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people with diverse needs.
*Develop and implement personalized therapy plans aligned with developmental goals.
*Provide targeted interventions for motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
*Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
*Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring adherence to clinical governance standards.
Key Requirements:
*HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
*Experience in paediatrics, preferably within the NHS or a similar setting.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with children, families, and professionals.
*Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
*Knowledge of current best practices and relevant legislation in paediatric occupational therapy.
