Job Description:
The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of Gears and Gearboxes to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking an Inspection Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a growing business who are seeking a self-motivated team player who can work well under pressure to lead and delegate work to a team of inspectors as well as still being hands on when it comes to inspecting machined components. You will join a close-knit quality function who are responsible for performing all inspection duties, calibration and all relevant documentation associated with quality control and inspection.
The day to day duties include:
*Lead, develop and mentor q team of quality inspectors as well as assigning tasks and managing schedules.
*Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and inspection procedures
*Analyse quality data and metrics to identify areas to improve
*Maintain accurate records of inspection, test results and quality results
What we are looking for:
*5 years’ experience in inspecting CNC Machined components with the likes of CMM’s, verniers with at least 2 years’ worth of team leadership experience
*Proficient in the use of Quality Management softwares and tools
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*The ability to deploy lean tools and practices
