Job Description:
Pastoral Tutor Vacancies – London
Salary: £16 - 18 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Pastoral Tutors to join our team in London!
Requirements:
*DBS Certificate on the update service is essential.
*Must be available to start immediately.
Responsibilities include:
*Delivering and facilitating the core tutorial curriculum through group sessions as per the scheme of work (SOW), using provided resources.
*Starting tutorials with a review of the group’s attendance and addressing engagement issues.
*Conducting 1:1 tutorials, setting and reviewing SMART targets in collaboration with teaching staff.
*Supporting students with progression, including UCAS guidance for Level 3 students.
*Monitoring at-risk learners and collaborating with parents, teachers, and support teams to keep them engaged.
*Assisting students with work experience placements and logging their hours.
*Representing students and the college in internal and external meetings.
*Maintaining accurate records on Pro-Monitor.
*Working within curriculum teams to provide pastoral support and improve learner outcomes.
Key Focus Areas:
*Enhancing learner attendance, retention, and achievement.
*Developing students’ broader skills, confidence, resilience, and mental well-being.
*Preparing students for the next phase of their education and fostering responsible citizenship.

Contract Positions
