Location: Cherry Tree Avenue, Stoke-on-Trent, ST7 3EL
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
Weekly Hours: 30 hours Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a passionate and experienced cook/chef looking for a rewarding opportunity? Our client, Mellors, is looking for a School Cook to join their team at this wonderful school for autistic children. As the School Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of the students. Your expertise in cooking will allow you to create a positive dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

The Key Requirements:
*Experience in working with Special Needs children is preferred
*Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards
*Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*To perform duties as directed by the Area Manager
*Conduct stock takes and ordering products via the online portal
