Maintenance Engineer

Job Role:
Our client is looking for a real go getter who can make their mark! The role will offer a opportunity for career progression, ideal candidate will be multi skilled but electrically bias. Ideally candidates will possess an HNC qualification with minimum of 18th Edition. Experience working in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
Typical Duties will involve:
*Conduct routine scheduled maintenance and respond promptly to equipment faults.
*Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods with the Lead Maintenance Engineer.
*Updating and monitoring of jobs, PM’s and stock on the Engineering system
*Send updates weekly on works carried out.
*Diagnose breakdown problems, fit new parts, ensure equipment is working correctly and perform quality inspections on completed tasks.
*Liaising with all departments, suppliers, subcontractors and other engineering and production colleagues.
*Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
*Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
*Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
Desirable experience:
*BTEC/HNC Qualification
*18th Edition
*PLC Inverter drives
*Reactive and preventative maintenance
*Manufacturing or FMCG background
*Drive for career progression
