Job Description:
Overview Mitchell Adam are happy to announce their new collaboration with an SME organisation in Stoke-on-Trent. This organisation has gone through some consistent growth in the last few years, and have taken the decision to expand their fantastic finance function, with the intention of adding an Accounts Assistant to join their team. They’re looking for a competent and confident finance professional, with at least two- or three-years’ experience working in the finance function of an organisation. This organisation offers study support and hybrid working for their staff, and their offices are easily accessible via car due to their free on-site parking.
This organisation have quickly began to become a prominent member of their industry, their focus is on delivering a fantastic product and service to their clients and customers, and this has been rewarded with loyalty and repeat purchase from the market. As an Accounts Assistant you will be taking oversight of responsibilities from the purchase and sales ledger, processing invoices, liaising with suppliers and working closely with the Management Accountant to provide insight on the financial situation.
Skills Required *This role requires a frequent level of interaction with your colleagues but also external stakeholders, so it is essential to be confident in your communication style.
*To have prior experience working in a finance function, taking on responsibilities such as processing invoices and interacting with debtors.
*To be able to manage your own workload, as this role is varied and the ability to prioritise important tasks is essential.
