Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

We are recruiting a Key Account Support role on behalf of our client, a leading global company within the food retail market. What You’ll Do:
As a key member of the Group Sales Support Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales process by serving as the central point of contact for a global customer portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
*Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular and ad-hoc reports on turnover, product assortment, profitability, and more, offering insights to internal teams and customers.
*Product Support: Manage and update retailer product management systems while collaborating with supply chain and purchasing teams to address product issues.
*Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as their go-to contact for new product launches, packaging, promotional management, and SLA follow-up.
*Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (marketing, supply chain, data management) to ensure smooth execution of sales processes.
*Sales Administration: Support account managers with the preparation and follow-up of tenders, quotations, and customer meetings.
What You Bring:
*Experience: At least 5 years in a fast-paced customer service, inside sales, or sales support role, ideally in a large organisation.
*Analytical Skills: Strong experience in building reports and analysing customer data, with advanced Excel skills (Power BI is a plus).
*Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with IT systems, ideally SAP.
*Commercial Attitude: You’re customer-focused with a commercial mindset, always seeking ways to improve satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
*Problem-Solving: You think in a solution-oriented way and are able to manage multiple tasks while embracing change.
