Medical Negligence Lawyer *Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

The Medical Negligence Lawyer will be responsible for developing a case load of high value medical negligence cases, involving life changing injuries. They will actively engage in marketing and business development.
Day-to-day of the role: *Compile evidence in support of claims and evaluate their merits.
*Identify legal and medical issues, calculate appropriate damages, and draft schedules of loss.
*Draft statements and liaise with medical experts and counsel.
*Communicate and negotiate with defendant solicitors and maintain direct communication with clients.
*Ensure compliance with Civil Procedure Rules and court directions.
*Provide guidance and support to junior fee earners.
*Lead business development initiatives, build relationships with charities, and generate referrals.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Law Society Medical Negligence Panel and/or AvMA membership essential.
*Proven experience in handling high-value, medical negligence cases involving life-changing injuries.
*Strong commitment to excellent client care and case management.
*Active engagement in marketing and business development, with a background in building relationships.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
