Role Responsibilities *Acting as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients
*Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial forecasts
*Managing VAT compliance, supporting client bookkeeping, and providing software support
*Advising clients on suitable in-house software packages such as IRIS, SAGE, and Xero
*Allocating work to and reviewing the output of junior team members, providing guidance and feedback
*Engaging in direct client communication, building strong relationships, and addressing their needs
*Supporting ad hoc analysis and project work as required

Candidate Requirements *Experience with accounting software such as IRIS, SAGE, and Xero is highly beneficial
*A background in preparing statutory and management accounts as well as VAT compliance
*Strong communication skills, with confidence in client-facing situations
*A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and client service
*Progression through a professional training programme is encouraged and fully supported
