About the Role
As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will:
*Design and Problem-Solve: Work on bespoke mechanical handling products such as conveyor systems, robots, and other innovative solutions.
*Project-Based Work: Develop solutions within specified timescales and budgets, taking ownership from concept to delivery.
*Innovate and Improve: Challenge current processes and explore how existing technologies function to develop new and improved systems.
*Collaborate and Communicate: Engage with suppliers, team members, and customers and deliver effective solutions.
*Hands-On Opportunities: Gain valuable experience with shop-floor testing and building, ensuring your designs work in real-world applications.
*Customer Exposure: Visit customer sites (approximately once a month).
We are looking for someone who can think outside the box, be creative and contribute across the board.

Requirements:
*This role is ideal for: Mechanical Engineering graduates or other related subject.
*Technically Skilled: Experience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and mechanical systems.
*Passionate About Design: A genuine enthusiasm for creating innovative mechanical solutions.
*Proactive and Inquisitive: A self-starter who isn’t afraid to challenge norms and suggest new ideas.
*Problem Solver: Someone who thrives on tackling challenges and finding creative solutions.
*Confident Communicator: Able to share and defend ideas with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
*Hands-On: Any experience with building and testing prototypes during your studies is a big plus.
*Positive attitude: eagerness to learn and a natural leader.
*Driving Licence: not essential but preferred, must have the willingness to learn in the future.

*The working hours are 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:30 – 16:00 on Friday
