Job Description:
Internal Sales Executive
£24-28,000 depending on experience.
Construction business – St Neots - office based role - Monday to Friday.  
Due to company location, you will require your own transport to access the site.
Our client, an award-winning business celebrated for its fantastic company culture and career development opportunities, is looking for a new team member with sales experience to join their internal sales team. 
Customer service is at the forefront of this role, and a natural knack and passion for sales is imperative.   You will work as part of the team in a very busy environment, providing prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers.  Your responsibility will be to maximise all revenue opportunities, administer all associated paperwork, and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
You will:
*Deal with telephone, email, and face to face enquiries.
*Take orders from customers and provide accurate information.
*Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and that procedures for hire and sales contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, asset administration, are adhered to.
*Liaise with the warehouse to ensure equipment required for hire is available.
*Co-ordinate drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently.
*Ensure all deadlines are met in relation to reporting of information.
*Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practises.
To be suitable for the role, you will have:
*Previous experience in an internal or external sales role
*Construction experience is not essential as training will be given, but you need to have the ability to adapt to the sector.
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Keenness to work in a busy, reactive environment.
