Job Opportunity: Shift Mechanical Engineer
Location: Salford
Hours: 7am-7pm (4 on, 4 off), then 7pm-7am (4 on, 4 off)
Pay: Circa £19 per hour
We’re seeking a Shift Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Media City, Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic environment and contribute to maintaining essential systems.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct statutory and non-statutory maintenance according to set schedules and contract SLAs.
*Perform reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract SLAs.
*Work with commercial hot and cold-water systems, ensuring peak performance.
*Adhere to Health & Safety standards, including ISO
*9001 & 14001
*Measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams, and effectively communicate technical information.
Requirements:
*Essential: Sound mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems.
*Experience: Expertise in commercial hot and cold-water systems.
*Qualifications: Approved apprenticeship in Plumbing/Mechanical skill area or significant relevant experience in a similar field.
*Strong awareness of risk assessment and safety protocols when working with equipment.
