The Role:
As an SEN Teacher in Aylesford, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and support students with a variety of learning needs. You’ll design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse abilities within your classroom. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team, you’ll create personalised learning plans, track progress, and provide consistent support to ensure each student thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
*Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and respected.
*Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to create effective learning plans.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
*Maintain accurate records in line with school policies.
*Engage in professional development to refine your SEN teaching skills.
What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
*Strong knowledge of strategies to support various learning needs.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
