we’re looking for a digital tech lead/ digital architect to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment
purpose |
the digital tech lead will play a pivotal role in driving our digital technical direction and ensuring the successful delivery of our digital initiatives. as the internal tech expert and architect, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight to our external development partners, ensuring that their work aligns with our strategic goals and meets the highest standards of quality
you will report into the head of digital + data and will also work closely with the technology director, cio and other senior stakeholders in the business
key accountabilities |
*serve as the internal digital tech sme, providing guidance and mentorship to the team
*define and maintain the company’s digital tech roadmap and architecture
*ensure alignment between technical strategy and business objectives
*manage and oversee the technical delivery of our external development partner
*review and approve technical designs, specifications, and code
*provide technical guidance and support to the development team, resolving any technical issues or challenges
*identify and address technical risks and challenges
*research and evaluate new technologies and tools to support our digital initiatives
*make recommendations for technology investments and implementations
*collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance
*foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

key skills + experience |
*strong technical background with a deep understanding of web development technologies (e.g., html, css, javascript)
*experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (e.g., node.js, nuxt)
*proficiency in cloud platforms (predominantly aws but also azure, gcp)
*experience with react native app development
*knowledge of devops practices and tools (e.g., ci/cd pipelines, version control)
*excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
*strong communication and interpersonal skills
*ability to work independently and as part of a team
*experience of agile, waterfall and hybrid software development methodologies
