JOB TITLE - Assistant SENCO
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for an assistant SENCO for a "Good" Secondary school in Gloucester.
The school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive SEND department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. The role will focus on supporting students across both key stage 3 and key stage 4.
CONTRACT DETAILS
*Location - Gloucester
*Position - Assistant SENCO
*Type of work - Assistant SENCO / Coordination support across the school
*Contract or position start date - December 2024
*Duration / Likely Duration - N/A
*Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A
*Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
*Full time/part time - Full-time
*Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
*Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*QTS or equivalent / or relevant experience
*Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
