Teaching Assistant *Job Type: Full-time
*Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 - 15:15
*Location: Brighton
*Salary: £90-£95
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people’s lives and thrives in a supportive team environment. If you have a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities, and you’re looking for a rewarding experience in a KS3 & KS4 Alternative Provision.
Day to Day of the Role: *Assist teachers in the classroom to support the delivery of lessons.
*Motivate and encourage pupils to engage in learning activities.
*Provide support to young people who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
*Help maintain a structured and nurturing learning environment.
*Work collaboratively with the teaching team to implement educational plans.
*Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
*Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
*Strong educational background across various subjects.
*Familiarity with the national curriculum and relevant learning programmes.
*Knowledge of relevant policies and codes of practice.
*Enthusiasm, commitment, and a positive approach to working with young people.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*Experience working with young people is preferred.
