We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Heathfield. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
*Implement a child-centred approach in teaching and learning.
*Utilize outdoor spaces, including the Forest School and garden, to enhance the curriculum.
*Promote and model the school’s "Values Based Approach" to support students’ development as responsible and motivated individuals.
*Contribute to planning and delivering a range of sports and leisure activities.
*Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent wrap-around care, including breakfast and after-school clubs.
Requirements:
*Relevant teaching qualification and experience.
*Strong commitment to child-centred education and holistic development.
*Ability to inspire and engage students in both academic and extracurricular activities.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Passion for outdoor learning and innovative teaching methods.
