Head of Talent/Recruitment Director
£60,000-£75,000pa
REED HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation is Kent seeking an experienced Talent/Recruitment Professional seeking a new challenge in a thriving organisation!
Job Purpose:
As the Head of Talent/Recruitment Director, you will identify, engage, develop, and retain talent within our organisation to enhance performance and drive success. You will lead our recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, support colleague engagement and retention, and oversee the development of learning and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
*Lead and oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
*Develop and implement effective talent acquisition plans.
*Promote diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
*Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior roles.
*Collaborate with leaders to track hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines.
Talent Management:
*Lead career development, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
*Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
*Identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
*Design and implement succession plans and talent pathways.
Talent Development:
*Develop and oversee learning and development strategies.
*Drive the design and execution of training programs.
*Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent development with organisational objectives.
*Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the L&D function.
Leadership:
*Lead and coach the Recruitment and Talent team.
*Build robust methods for tracking and evaluating team performance.
*Manage third-party relationships and contract negotiations.
Budget Management:
*Define, allocate, and manage the Talent, Recruitment & L&D budgets.
*Make data-driven recommendations for resource allocation.
Compliance:
*Accountable for UKBA sponsorship licences and safer recruitment practices.
*Ensure compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Proven experience in talent acquisition, management, and development.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
*Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
