Our client, a leading medical equipment supplier, is seeking a technically minded Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team, covering the Southampton area.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring all customer equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
*Please note - Full, Clean driving license is required due to nature of job*
Key Responsibilities: *Perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on-site.
*Complete service documentation and prepare reports for additional work or spare parts.
*Assist in organising and prioritising all fieldwork types effectively.
*Schedule jobs with customers, ensuring timely completion.
*Report real-time job status updates promptly.
*Maintain a clean, tidy, and roadworthy service vehicle.
*Provide detailed activity reports to the Operations Manager.
About You: *A tactful, diplomatic, and communicative approach to customer interactions.
*A strong technical mindset with good coordination skills.
*Previous engineering experience in a similar role.
*Proficiency with IT systems.
*A clean driving licence is mandatory.
The Package: *Competitive salary of up to £38,000pa DOE.
*A home-based role with travel to customer sites as required.
*All tools and a fully equipped service vehicle provided.
*Monday to Friday working hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
